Sarah Adams – About me

Singing in front of people used to be my biggest fear so I fully understand how daunting it can be joining a singing group or going along to a workshop but rest assured, my ethos is all about creating a fun, relaxed atmosphere so that everyone can enjoy singing together. It’s so good for the soul and I absolutely love what I do.

I am part of acoustic band Canter Semper in which I sing and play piano. We gig regularly around Manchester playing original harmony driven tunes with a soul/roots vibe. Our headline gigs include Band on the wall, The Deaf Institute, Manchester Academy and The Met, Bury. I also have a solo project with my loop pedal called And Loops.

Choirs Manchester are all about community, we love nothing more than performing together a local events. Manchester highlights include Great Run Manchester Half Marathon, celebrating Withington Baths’ 10th Birthday, Withington Pride + Palestine charity fundraisers at The Carlton Club in Whalley Range.

I am extremely passionate about music and singing and hope that one of my groups can help you to try something new, maybe revisit an old skill or – most importantly – have a great time singing as a group!
